What we install

The right components.

An Emit Solar system is a complete rooftop setup: 670W AIKO panels, a Huawei or Solis inverter, a Solar DB and a Smart PV Meter, with battery and EV charging as add-ons. You don’t have to compare spec sheets. Our engineers already have.

Solar Panels

AIKO solar panels. ABC technology.

The solar panel we use is the 670W AIKO ABC N-Type. With All Back Contact technology, the electrical contacts – the silver lines that normally run across the front of the panel – are moved to the back, freeing up more surface area to capture sunlight.
More working surface
•Up to 24.8% efficiency
•More cell area exposed to sunlight
•Designed to perform well in hot climates
Better in partial shade
•Conventional panels can lose more output when part of the panel is shaded
•AIKO’s cell design helps limit that loss
•Satellite dishes, vents and passing clouds have less impact on generation
More from your roof
•670W output per panel
•Fewer panels needed for the system your home needs
•Better use of roof space

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How does a solar pv system work?

+
Solar panels convert sunlight into DC electricity. Your inverter converts this to AC power your home uses. During daylight hours, you use solar first – reducing what you draw from TNB. Surplus is exported to TNB via Solar ATAP for bill credits.

What type of inverter do you install?

+
We primarily install hybrid string inverters that are efficient, easy to monitor and battery-ready if you want to add storage later.

Do you offer battery storage?

+
  • Battery storage is offered as an optional add-on because of its high cost, and not every household benefits equally from it.
  • By making it optional, you have the flexibility to decide whether the additional investment makes sense for your usage pattern and budget.
  • This also allows you to install your solar system first and decide later if you’d like to add batteries once you better understand your Solar Electricity consumption patterns.

Do I need a battery?

+
  • Not necessarily. With Malaysia’s current tariff structure, the Solar ATAP scheme, and the high cost of batteries, adding a battery may not significantly increase savings for most homeowners.
  • You can already save by using the Solar Electricity your system generates directly during the day.
  • Under Solar ATAP, you’ll also be able to export any excess Solar Electricity for additional savings on your TNB bill.

Does installing a battery system mean I will have electricity during blackouts?

+
Yes, if you opt to include a backup power box that can help keep essential appliances running during blackouts.

Does your system support EV charging?

+
Yes. Our system is designed to support future EV charging with 10mm2 cabling pre-installed and the option to add an EV Expansion Box when you’re ready to install a charger.
