How does solar help me save money?

- Direct Solar Usage: Your home uses the Solar Electricity you generate directly, avoiding grid imports and all TNB charges.
– Daytime use (8am to 6pm): Solar powers your home directly as it’s generated.
– Energy Storage (optional): Excess solar is stored for night use before any grid import or export. - Export to TNB: Surplus Solar Electricity not immediately used or stored is sent to the grid to further lower your bill (under Solar ATAP, effective Dec 2025).

Yes, two ways. 0% Solar Now Pay Later spreads payments over 5 or 10 years with no interest and no credit card lock-up, subject to a credit check. Or pay by credit card on a 0% instalment plan of up to 60 months with a partner bank: CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Maybank, Public Bank or UOB.
Do I need a loan to buy solar panels?
